Beginning August 28 2016, guests are now able to take advantage of a new aspect of Disney’s extensive transportation system: a one way route
from any of Disney’s theme parks directly to Disney Springs! The route is available daily beginning at 4:00 pm and ending two hours following park close or at 11:00 pm, whichever is earlier.
Previously, guests wanting to go from a park to Disney Springs first had to transfer buses at a resort. Now, getting to the shops, restaurants, and entertainment at the Disney Springs complex is streamlined more conveniently for park guests, hopefully while also shortening lines and reducing crowd levels for buses traveling from the parks to the resorts.
This new service seems to offer the optimal option for resort guests who are looking to visit Disney Springs after spending the majority of the day in a park. Simply put, this service will allow guests to go from their resort to the parks, from the parks to Disney Springs, and finally from Disney Springs back to their resort–likely with an additional shopping bag or two in hand.
